I had the opportunity to test drive this laptop for a few weeks (I am sad to be sending it back) and wanted to let you know some of the features that I personally loved:
1. The battery has amazing life. There is nothing worse than short battery life. This Dell battery really lived up to what it says its supposed to do.
2. The computer doesn’t get hot like my other laptop. I blogged from the laptop all day for 2 weeks straight with a heat issue. I do recommend a cooling pad, but I did use this one with out it and had no issues.
3. I had no technical issues. I am a heavy user and did not have issues with the laptop hanging up or locking up.
4. The color of the laptop is awesome.. I received a blue test laptop and its so cute!
The only thing I didn’t really enjoy about the laptop was the mousepad, but I quickly fixed that with a wireless mouse. The keypad felt funny on my fingers.

If you have read any of my Tweets, you will know that I am a big greek yogurt fan. I usually eat it every day for breakfast. I love the thick texture of it and it is fabulous with granola. I have been eating the same brand for quite sometime, so when Voskos asked me if I would like to try theirs, I did let them know that I was a huge fan of the “another” brand. Their response: This should be interesting! So they sent me some yogurt to try.
Here is what I love about greek yogurt , it is much creamier than regular yogurt. I also love to substitute greek yogurt for sour cream in my dips. Greek Yogurt is also a great source of protein.
My verdict on Voskos – it definitely tastes great. It has the proper consistency of Greek Yogurt. (Side note – Some “mainstream” Yogurt companies have introduced a quote on quote Greek Yogurt. This is so not greek yogurt, its just a thicker, clumpier version of their other yogurt). The organic Greek Honey is devine, add a little granola and you are set. At 120 calories and no fat, the Wild Blueberry is a great “diet” conscience option.
I do wish that Voskos would be available in more stores and had a few more flavors. The flavors they do have are so good, so why not add a few more? You can get more information on Voskos here.

You probably will think why are they giving away routers? I am online, I already have a router. Well, the Cisco Valet is not just any router. It’s a simple to install, easy to use, router and parental online service in one!
I decided to install my Cisco Valet the other evening. I told some friends and they said don’t do it unless you want your internet to be down for a few hours. You know the scene – confusing wires, numbers to enter and eventually a phone call to your internet service provider to help you get your internet running. With the Cisco Valet, there was none of this! The ease of installation was amazing. I literally had 5 computers up and running in under a half an hour. Thanks to a simple USB Key, the Valet virtually installs itself. You need to just plug it into the computer and it does the work.
The Valet is a new wireless router made just for people who are intimated by the traditional router. The Valet is made by the folks who brought us the Flip video camcorders and it comes from the tech savvy Cisco, a router brand that people know and trust.
Along with its super easy setup, the Valet creates a guest network to go along with your main network. This gives your friends and family the ability to connect to the guest network – without disrupting your network. (Think of when you go into Panera and log on to their network).
The best feature of the The Valet is the parental control software. You can set restrictions blocking certian websites or cutting off Internet access after a certain time on school nights or weekends. After a password is set up, content can be blocked on some or all devices. Specific sites can be blocked, I blocked both Facebook and Twitter on Evan’s computer. Time restrictions on Internet usage can be set up here, with different settings for school nights and weekends. This is a great feature if your child has their own computer.

I think this video from Office Max just about sums up what parents feel when their children are heading back to school. As my son is getting older, I see him as a little person. He is starting to have dreams about what his career will be. I am so determined to have him realize he can do ANYTHING, yes even be an astronaut.
