Many of you have asked where is the best office supply place to buy Back To School Supplies. I have been recommending shopping each week for the loss leaders at each store. If you haven’t stocked up back to school supplies yet, you may find this comparison interesting. Walmart sent me a gift card to use towards school supplies and challenged me to check out their back to school prices. I didn’t believe that they could possibly be as cheap as the loss leaders that Staples offers, but I went for myself to find out.
Here is what I purchased at Walmart with a direct comparison to what prices are at Staples. All prices are from a shop done on 08/27/10 in Pennsylvania Walmart and Staples. You can check out the Walmart back to school page .

So what does this tell me, if you haven’t been shopping all summer long for supplies, you may want to look at Walmart instead of Staples. The day to day pricing at Walmart beats they day to day pricing at Staples. Outside of the the items that were loss leaders this week, Staples costs were must more expensive.
Note: Walmart paid for the supplies in this post. All supplies purchased are being donated to a child in need, so thank you Walmart. I was not compensated in any other way for this post.

Ladies Home Journal is $12.00 for a 1 year subscription on Tanga today. Use code JOURNAL to bring the price down to $2.99, today 08/26 only. Keep in mind that Tangas prices do tend to go up over the course of the day, so this may be slightly more later in the day.

You already know how much I love Rite Aid – but here is another reason to love Rite Aid. You can now load Upromise Ecoupons to your RiteAid wellness card!
If you are not using Upromise, you definitely should be. Everytime you buy an item with a ecoupon, Upromise deposits that amount into a college savings fund. The nice thing is you can create multiple accounts under your log in for each of your children. There are many grocery stores that participate as well. At the beginning of each month, you simply add the coupons to your card. (I put up a monthly reminder)
Here is how you can start earning with Upromise coupons:
:: Join Upromise here or login.
:: Fill out your information.
:: Add Rite Aid Wellness Card number and any other store cards you would like. Note: If you do not enter atleast one card, you account is not active.
:: Add coupons to your card and you are set. (note you only need to add the numbers and not the letters that may be in the front of your card number, Thanks Samantha)
I will start to add Upromise coupons to the Rite Aid matchups!
