Kmart Super Doubles Maybe?

by Shannon on March 3, 2010 · 25 comments

First, I need to preface this post with a MUST READ disclaimer. I, Shannon, do not believe one thing that Kmart’s customer service reps tell me. In fact, I don’t even believe it when I see it written in a Kmart ad. In fact, I don’t believe it until I checkout.

Now, with that said,  I scored some amazing deals at Kmart last summer. I literally got hundreds of dollars worth of products for a few dollars…You can see some proof here, here and here. I also had some big headaches from the yes we are  to the no we aren’t doing it. My head was spinning with all the back and forth.

So they claim they are going to be doing this Kmart Super Double thing on April 4th thru April 10th.

We shall see. Like I said I won’t believe it until I checkout.

*New*- Tropicana Juicy Rewards

by Shannon on March 3, 2010 · 3 comments

So I am excited to tell you about a new program - Tropicana Juicy Rewards. I was recently asked by Tropicana to give their new rewards program a spin. Now you all know I love rewards programs, but I am particularly excited about this one. Most of the rewards program’s are designed around products I don’t buy (i.e. baby stuff). We love orange juice so I am happy to participate in this one. Of course, if it is another way to save then I am game too.
So here is how the program will work:

Tropicana’sJuicy Rewards program is designed to thank their customers for choosing great taste and value. Specially marked packages of Tropicana Orange Juice contain a code for points that you can enter when you log onto Tropicana.com to redeem for discounts. You can also register for the chance to win the national sweepstakes for a Yosemite Adventure.

So how do you use the points?

You can use your points for discounts on purchases with Tropicana’s national partners such as Adidas, Coleman, and EA Sports, or for cool local activities such as a visit to the zoo or a trip to the spa. Each carton of Tropicana Orange Juice is worth up to $15 in savings.

You can sign up here. To get your started:

  • Become a fan on Facebook, and get $5.00 in Rewards and points here
  • You will get 1 point for registering.
  • You will get 1 point for completing the survey that pops up after registration.
  • Use code LA73E CL9W4 that was in Sunday’s Redplum insert to get another 1 point.

Disclosure: “I wrote this review while participating in the Tropicana Juicy Insiders Ambassador program by Mom Central on behalf of Tropicana. I received 12 free Juicy Rewards points and a $50 Visa gift card to use in redemption of the points and to facilitate my review.”

This deal is good TODAY MARCH 2nd ONLY.

Jenny over at Bargain Blessings sent me this great deal on Bounty & Charmin. It is good today only!

Buy (1) Charmin 24 Double Roll Pack $12.99
get $6.00 instant sale deduction for buying both the Bounty and Charmin
use $3.00  Bounty P&G eSaver Coupon (load to your card)
use $3.00 Charmin P&G eSaver Coupon
use $.25/1  Bounty MQ (2/7 PG)
use $.25/1  Charmin MQ (2/7 PG)

Important Notes: Make sure that your total (before the $9.99 sale price-so the $12.99) price is over $25. These are priced at $11.99 at some areas in the country (again, before the $9.99 promo), so you will need to add another item participating in the P&G promo to get over $25.
