365 recipes in 365 days

I must preface this post with: My friend says I have clearly lost my mind.  Little does she know that was gone a LONG LONG time ago.

A big part of living a frugal lifestyle is cooking at home. I know there are weeks when I get sick of the same meals over and over again. I think this is why many of us eat out. We either are sick of the same foods or think we cannot cook good meals. When I watched Julie & Julia a few weeks ago, I was inspired to cook. I already cook alot, but not quite enough variety.

So as of January 1st, I am challenging myself to provide 365 easy to make recipes that are easy on the budget. I am hoping that you will help me along the way. I have already received some great submissions!

So if you would like your recipe to be featured here (including a link to your blog and photo), email me for more details. You can email me here.

What a great idea! I simply loved that movie! :). Can’t wait to read all about it, and get some recipe ideas myself!

I am so looking forward to this! I conquered coupons last year and this year will be dedicated to learning new recipes and cooking home much more. Got a new slow cooker for Christmas and just ordered a rice cooker. I am ready!!
