I have heard from many of you that didn’t receive the coupon for free Oreos but …..

I am happy to announce Nabisco is trying to make it right.

If you signed up for the free Oreo offer here, and you were not mailed a coupon, go here and fill out the request for your coupon. You must have signed up in January to be eligible..

Thanks to Lisha for letting me know about this..

Wow – I’m surprised to hear this. It’s one that came pretty quickly for me. And not only did it come quickly, but it came 3 times…even though I only registrered once!

I tried to use this at Wal-Mart, and it was confiscated by my cashier as counterfeit! She showed me a photocopied flyer at her register given to her by the managers, with the pictures of multiple coupons for “free” products on there and the words “DO NOT ACCEPT” written in big black letters. It was totally humiliating! Just wanted to give a heads up that according to my local Wal-Mart, this is a fraud. Did this happen to anyone else or am I the only lucky one out there? :)

I tried to use mine at meijer. I actually got two. one had a bar code and one didn’t. otherwise they looked exactly the same. They said it was fake also but after about 10 minutes of explaining where I got it and that I couldn’t possibly get that kind of paper it was printed on, they took them. They said anything that was completely free was fake but I said facebook is giving out a lot of those kind lately and that they were not fake.

Hi, I actually got mine, using it though was not as easy! I had always used coupons at my local Wal-mart (clippings from circulars, printed from coupons.com, mail offers, etc..) they did not want to accept but when I told them they had honored my sisters free oreo coupon earlier in the day they said they would accept it this one time but that they would no longer accept free ones, or ones printed offline, they even stated if they scanned any kind and it doesn’t go through when they scan they would not accept. I understand that their are always a few people out there who will try to ruin good things but how can Wal-mart not accept legit coupons from places like coupons.com or when they scan one that might not scan and they would have to put it in deny it. Has anyone else had this problem?

I received mine and used it at target without any problems. sorry to hear some of you had problems. I really don’t understand why some stores and cashiers try to make you feel like a theif just for using coupons.

I redeemed mine at Meijer. When the cashier saw that was for a free product, she reached under the register and pulled out this huge binder that had photocopies of fraudulent coupons. As she was slowly looking through the binder to see if this coupon was in there, I politely explained that it came directly from Nabisco and there was a watermark on the back of the coupon, so it couldn’t be fake… She looked at the watermark and said, “Oh… OK.” and that seemed easy enough! :)

I also got two. Maybe this is why there’s a problem for others.

Krogers coupons policy is to not take free printable coupons. I believe Meijer is the same. Many grocery chains do not take free prints unless
your cashier doesnt know. I wouldn’t think anyone would think this coupon is fake because you have to buy another oreo and milk.
There were huge conterfeit printables awhile ago and with those dirty
few that make copies, stores don’t want to lose the money.A free item
is more money lost than $1 or .50.

I know it is Krogers coupon policy to not take free IP coupons. I believe
Meijer and other big chains are the same. I would not think this coupon
would be a problem since you have to buy another pack of coupons and milk. Awhile ago ther were huge counterfeit free IP and with those
dirty few that make copies stores don’t want to lose the money. Free
coupons are a much bigger loss than .50 or $1. If they start taking them again those people will be back.

I use my online coupons at Kroger every week and have never had a problem with them being accepted!! And though I only registered once for the FREE Oreo cookies, I received three separate mailings with coupons! I used all three on the same shopping trip at Kroger, and it was not questioned!! So it sounds like Emily’s Kroger is just one that wants to play hard ball!!

I got one quickly as well. This is the one from the Manning Bro’s on fb that was strictly free double golden stuff pack. No other purchase required. It worked at Kroger for me!!

I’ve had problems at Walmart accepting free coupons. I was there last week and realized I needed to use my free International Creamer coupon. It wasn’t a printable. The girl told me that she had been told all Free coupons were fakes, that companies didn’t had out coupons for free products. I got the same thing at Kroger when I tried using my free box of Kashi cereal the other day. Never had a problem at Meijer though. If I remember there was a fake brick of Velvetta coupon last year sometimes… I think thats what really made companies freak out. Plus in todays economy I was reading in the Detroit News that more and more people then ever are using coupons. Infact the paper believes in a recent survey 70% of the papers they sell on Sunday are for just that.
