What does ETS stand for?
I just discovered that the Philly Daily News has smartsource inserts in their Thurs editions. They do lag behind though. So this week (2/25) they had the same insert as the Sun (2/21) Philly Inquirer. This week’s coupons didn’t excite me, but on a week when I’d wish I’d bought extra copies this is a great cheap way to get some more inserts :)
Good idea, Barbara!
My Sunday issue of the San Jose Mercury/News used to show up with loads of missing coupons until the newspaper began publishing a listing of the actual coupons that were included in each issue. The listing was right inside the front page of the paper. Suddenly, I began to receive all my coupons, and if any were missing, I’d notify the Mercury/News that I didn’t receive a complete paper and needed a complete paper before I paid a complete price! Now, unfortunately, they do not publish the listing anymore, so I must wonder and hope that my coupons are all there. We need to send requests to our newspaper companies to please publish those listings again. It would be a great advertising campaign if they’d even place a listing somewhere on the front page!
i am in louisiana and i called my local paper because all of the papers at the news stands didn’t have all of the coupons in them…they said the companies are not sending them enough copies to put in a full “run” of papers…had to go to their building to pick mine up, i hope this does not happen every week…
My newspaper NEVER has the smartsource coupons. Do you know how we can request for them to be mailed to us or get put in the newspaper?
Thanks so much for posting and adding all the coupons. I have added this post to my blog :)
Christina
If you live in the greater Philly area, try the Bucks County Intelligencer and/or the Morning Call (Allentown/LV). Both have SS & RP inserts.
Ahh, didn’t notice. That might be a bigger bummer then!
IF I were still getting Red Plum inserts, there would be some great deals to combine with Acme’s back page coupons!

Rachel,
The in ads are manufacturers…
so no loss.
I noticed a posting on couponcabin.com for new walgreens $5 of $25 coupon exp. 2/11/10 but I can’t print it. Does anyone has pdf file or send me link to print? Thanks.
I didn’t get a RP or SS insert in my newspaper this week! I’m in Georgia. So out of the ENTIRE newspaper I only got 2 coupons total for paper towels.
In my area (Suburb of Pittsburgh, PA) I have been getting Redplum in my mail, as it is no longer in the newspapers here. The Smart Source coupons still come in the newspaper. So it is a combo of both here and I am guessing in many areas as well. I guess the Red Plum people don’t want us to buy 5 papers to get 5 of their inserts? Makes no sense why they would care.
Try the bucks county intelligencer – they have both RP and SS
I don’t think my paper has this many coupons ever. Does the insert vary by location/newspaper?
This is the BEST list EVER!!! Thank you soooo much for posting!!!
Can you please send it to me next weekend so I can add it and put a thanks out to you!
I am in the Philly area and NONE of my local CVS carry the Inquirer anymore. I bought some other paper and the coupons were different, and not as good.
I couldn’t even find a Sunday paper they were all sold out everywhere I went so I ended up with no coupons at all :( I am going to have to just have it delivered LOL that way I will get it and not have to get up at day break to beat the seniors to the paper rack LOL
I am in So Cal and we are missing a TON of those coupons in our papers. =(
First, thanks sooo much for the list!!!!!
Also, I wanted to let you know that I received 2 Redplum inserts. I get them direct mail (if that matters). One has a L’oreal cover, the other has a JCPenney Optical cover.
So be on the lookout for another Redplum insert!
Thanks! I thought there wouldn’t be any coupons this week but this is worth it!
Thank you, Shannon!
Oh…should have kept reading…
