This post brought to you by TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.
With the Superbowl around the corner (yes, I am depressed, no Eagles), Tabasco challenged me to come up with some good ways to use Tabsaco Original Red sauce. Being married to Mr. Tabasco himself, this was an easy feat. Seriously, Mystery Husband puts Tabasco Red on EVERYTHING. Yes I mean EVERYTHING. Eggs, Chicken, Pizza, Tacos, Salad,Popcorn, Chili .. you name it, he probably eats it with Tabasco Sauce. He’d probably eat ice cream with Tabasco if they made it.
He insists that Tabasco adds more than hot, which he is right. I am not a huge fan of super hot food that makes you cry. However, I still use Tabasco Original Red in my cooking. It just ads a certain depth and richness of the flavor.
So, if you are planning your Superbowl Party or perhaps you will just be pouting and eating like me, here be sure to check here for some recipe ideas. If you are just ordering in some pizza, here are some ways to kick your pizza up a notch.

How much Tabasco? Tsp? Tbsp? 2 tbsp?
Shannon says
@Jacquelyn,
Tabasco to taste — depends on how much you like. I am not a technical cook – my recipes point you in the right direction – put the tabasco in at the end and keep tasting until you like it :)

Did you see the 50 cent brinks coupon for any size bottle of Tabasco they’re offering at http://www.tabasco.com/specialoffers/ ?
I have a small bottle, but I think I’ll pick up a couple of more since my store doubles these!
Thanks for the recipe Shannon!

This is very similar to what’s in my crockpot right now – Chicken Tortilla Soup for dinner tonight :) I’ll have to add the Tabasco, since my man loves it, too.
