Note: This deal is not good until 07/18, but I wanted to share it now because it is good!
In the 07/18 ad, ( I am presuming this is the long ad only), Zegerid 14ct is $10.00 with a $3.00 in ad coupon and $7.00 UPR.
Scenario #1
Zegerid 14 ct $10.00
Use $3.00 in ad coupon
use $4.00/1 manufacturer coupon in 06/20 SS
use $3.00/1 Video Values Coupon
Free after coupons
Get $7.00 UPR
$7.00 Overage
* I think scenario one is your best bet. There is a rebate for up to $12.99 after coupons and discounts.. Here is how I think this one would work, if you purchased it with other items.
Scenario #2
Zegerid 14ct $10.00
use $3.00 in ad coupon
use $3.00/1 Video Values Coupon
Pay $4.00
Get $7.00 UPR
$3.00 Overage after UPR
Get back $7.00 or $4.00 from mail in rebate in 06/20 SS
$10.00 or $6.00 Overage
**the in ad coupon will show as reducing the zegerid price so they will only reimburse $7.00. *Note, the new video values show up as Zegerid according to reader John, so you may only get $4.00 back on the rebate.
Does this look right to you? I am excited about this one, because my husband uses this and it costs us $70.00 a month prescription!
wendy says
sandra, thank you so much for the zegerid rebate. i have been looking for one!! wendy machermom@aol.com
sherrie says
I would also like the rebate form! I’m thinking of looking on ebay or perhaps a coupon clippers
Carmen says
How do you get the rebate form for the zegerid ? thank you
Jennifer says
You should be able to also use a $1/$10 pain relief? Since this is for heartburn, which is pain, I think you can use it…these $1/$10 leave much to the imagination, I use them all the time and never get questioned, like the “household” ones, I consider anything I buy at Rite Aid, “household” items, and have used them all with no questions.
I would reallly like to see that AD showing an in-ad, mC and VV, since the one from before didn’t show those 3, wouldn’t fly for me….at some stores!
Valerie says
Mel,
The coupon from the 6/6 ad is the one I posted above. It only shows the VV & in-ad being combined. Not a VV, in-ad, and manufacturer.
Mel says
It’s the 6/6 ad that had the in-ad coupon showing a manf and vv as well. Does anyone have a pdf of it? I somehow threw my real copy away.
Shannon says
@Mel,
Thanks for finding it. I will go through my ads and see if I can locate it and scan it up!
Teri says
Shannon,
What is the expiration date of the famed Rite-Aid in-ad coupon you and Valerie have been referring to? … the one that says “in – ad, video value, and manufacturer.”
I’d like to find the ad in my Rite-Aid coupon binder.
Shannon says
@Teri,
Teri,
I am going to have to look thru my old inserts, don’t know off the top of my head.
Krissi says
once you watch a video for the VV, can you print that coupon multiple times and use the multiple coupons?
Shannon says
@Krissi,
No Krissi, it is now only once per card to be used.
sandra says
If anyone finds a way to purchase or get the rebate online please post! I didn’t get it, I have found no sure ways to get rebates from newspapers as they only post and/or clip COUPONS and don’t seem to care about rebates :/. ;)
Diana says
Thanks Lilia for the link to the $3 coupon. I didn’t get that $4 one in my inserts so this came in handy (wish my printer hadn’t botched the first print, though!!). I love these Look Ahead posts. They’re great, Shannon!
Michelle says
I’m anxioulsy waiting to see next weeks Rite Aid deals!!! :) You’re the best at Rite Aid!
Shannon says
@Michelle,
I had every intention of doing Rite Aid first thing this morning, but too many new deals LOL
John says
In your scenario 2 you have the in ad and video values listed. When both of them are scanned it will shoe up as Zegerid. So you will only get back $4 for the rebate since both coupons will show Zegerid for the coupons scanned.
Shannon says
@John,
I am looking at my receipt that I submitted using the Zegerid video values and it doesn’t show the Zegerid name on it. Now it may with the new video values that they released.
Shannon says
@John,
You are right, the new video values are showing up that way. Updated my scenario.. thanks!
lilia says

Is this the coupon you are referring to? I have that saved, but it makes no mention of a manufacturer (non rite-aid Q). They look at me with evil eyes when I use two coupons. A third??!?! I hope I make it out alive
Shannon says
@Valerie,
No Val, there was another one, but that one certainly is good to keep on hand. Let me see if can find it in my ads that I have saved.
erin says
I know that Rite Aid has limited the amount of VV coupons you can use in a month. Did it start with the July ones and we can use multiple June ones still?
Grace says
After showing them the one ad where they had all the coupons showing (MQ, RAQ and VV) off of one item, they don’t give me any more trouble. I am so glad I saved that ad :)
Kristin says
At our Rite Aid(s) – there are 3 close to me, I do this all the time! I have never had a problem :)
Valerie says
Good luck getting a cashier to except a Video Values, a manufacturer, and an in-ad!
It’s like rolling the dice!
Shannon says
@Valerie,
They have had it in their ads, and if you save that ad in your coupon binder, I bet you have no problems :)
Lydia says
Wish I lived closer to you. I’d love to give you my free heartburn meds!
Shannon says
@Lydia,
I know up until now, nothing OTC has worked for him. He actually has stomach issues and without it he can barely eat, so its been a necessity. So I will be rolling the heck out of this one!
