The Style Science $10 off coupon was in May, but the kids Style Science $4 off VV was this month. You’d just have to buy two, print two coupons (although we’re still arguing on the ethics of this.. lol), and you’d qualify for the $10 SCR by buying 2 pairs.
Btw.. does anyone know any upcoming sales going on for the kids sunglasses that might make this a better deal? I just need one pair of kids sunglasses to qualify for the rebate (because I bought an adult pair a couple days ago), but I noticed last month the kids version was going on sale.
Jen says
Lol… really! She probably should. I stockpiled some 5’s for my youngest who’s now in 3’s because of all of these diaper deals (and I already had a few 4’s). We’ve realized that the oldest is probably not going to potty train for at least a couple months, so I may have to exchange a couple of those 5’s for 6’s =P
Jen says
Aww sorry about the blink rebate =( But tyvm for the info on the kids sunglasses. I have two young ones, so it would be nice to have a couple extra pairs floating around (and the price is right!) =)
Shannon says
@Jen,
I say she returns the Blink on Sunday and rebuys it :)
Lara says
Shannon, I bought the Zicam BOGOF today and had 2 $2 off Q’s. The manager would only let me use 1. I even pulled the policy and we read it together. He said I was only buying 1 item and therefore couldn’t use the second Q because it would make it less than zero. These items are priced at $12.49 so even at BOGO and the $4 off I was no where close to zero. Am I totally reading the policy wrong? How do you deal with the manager? Any advice would be great, thanks.
Shannon says
@Lara,
This has been an issue that has been arising alot lately, and that part of the policy has been “open” to interpretation at store level. I have been posting that YMMV , I recently had this conversation with my Rite Aid contact and got a long dissertation.
Sorry that I am not much help, I don’t think you were wrong, but this has been happening alot :(
Sandra says
Is the VV for the sunglasses from a previous month? I can’t seem to find it in this months.
Shannon says
@Sandra,
They were in May. I think they switched a few days after I did this post.. sorry :(
Julie says
Jen,
My StyleScience rebate showed up today! Looks like the kid’s sunglasses work as well. However, the jokes on me–blink rebates aren’t until next week. I still made out though….

i have a question regarding the physican formula 5 dollar coupon. on it, it says “limit 1 per customer” “cannot be combined with any other offers” does this mean i cannot use 2 for the buy one get one half off deal they are having now?
Shannon says
@,
I did not post the Physician’s Formula coupon because it was not meant for general circulation per Rite Aid – but if you got one via your email, typically it is like a VV coupon and you can only use 1 per customer.
Jen says
The kids style science count as part of the rebate?
Julie says
Shannon, thanks so much for all of your ideas. Just got back from RA. Here’s my scenario:
Transaction 1:
1 Pair StyleScience: 9.99(Yes, there were some under $12.99!)
Huggies: 8.99
Colgate 4.6 oz. .99(On sale)
Subtotal: Just over $20(Don’t ask me how)
Used: $5 off of $20 coupon, $10/1 StyleScience VV, $3/1 Huggies, $1/1 VV Huggies, and $1/1 Colgate
Free
Transaction 2:
Veet: 6.49
Blink: 7.99
StyleScience kids: 7.99
Coppertone: 8.99
Stayfree: 1.99
Subtotal: 33.45
Coupons: $5 off $25, $3/1 Veet printable, $3/1 Veet VV, $2/1 Blink, $4/1 StyleScience Kid’s VV, $1/1 Coppertone Manuf, $2/1 Coppertone In ad, $3/1 Coppertone VV, $2/1 Stayfree, and Wellness $1 off $10 Shave or Accessory
Total: $7.45 OOP
SCRs: Blink $7.99, Huggies $2, and StyleScience $10= $12.54 moneymaker!
Thanks again Shannon!
Julie says
Do you think the Style Science deal would work if I bought one pair of adult’s and one of kid’s sunglasses? (There is a $4 VV this month for StyleScience kids)
Dawn says
1) For those buying anything SC Johnson (ziploc, glade, etc), they still have the $5 rebate off 3 items.
2) What are the +UP rewards? I’m in Michigan and just noticed these coupons printing out with my wellness purchases.
Shannon says
@Dawn,
Hey Dawn, I just did a post about it :)
Tara says
We have the Up Rewards at my store too – I am in the Harrisburg Area but my store is acutally in Manchester, PA (17347)
Sue C says
Rebecca which store in Harrisburg….I’m heading up there this weekend…I’m in Orrtanna (Gettysburg/Chambersburg area). Thanks for the tid-bit.
Sue C.
Laura says
Can you really use an ad-in coupon, a manufacturers coupon, and a video value coupon for one product (i.e. coppertone)? Thanks…I’m new.
Rebecca B. says
I got this too this morning when I got Pullups. My husband went back later today and used this with the Pullups deal and got 3 packs of Pullups for $1.33/pk (normal retail $11.99/pk)! He also got another $11.99 coupon to use for another visit. This was incredible. We live in the Harrisburg area.
Rocky says
I live in Western NY. It’s interesting because I bought two regular Huggies Litter Movers at one RA store in the morning, they didn’t give me the reward. Then I went to another store in the late afternoon to get two more (cos I forgot to bring some coupons in the first purchase and the first store was already closed). This time I got one regular Little Mover and one with the Jeans design. That’s when they gave me the +UP reward. So I don’t know if it’s the store or the package of Jeans diaper that made the difference.
Shannon says
@Rocky,
I think it is store, because they must be in one of the districts, so even stores in the same towns aren’t participating.
Diane says
If you have coupons that mess up in printing, you can email them and they will reset. Look at the top of My Rewards for the email address.
Rocky says
Did the Huggies deal today. RA surprised me with a +UP Reward coupon, which says $11.99 off of purchase of $11.99 or more. Anyone else got this? It is really cool!
Shannon says
@Rocky,
Sweet – what general area do you live Rocky? THere are four test markets – so if you are in one.. nice!
Sue C says
Sorry for having to ask….but I’m really getting confused about this multiple printing of the vv coupons. So Shannon what is the answer….can we or can’t we? Thanks for your patience.
Shannon says
@Sue C,
Sue, This is a good question – and here is what I am basing my answer on – a response from my corporate rite aid contact – that they know you can print more than one, store level discretion as to whether to allow multiple VV but it is always 1 per like item per transaction.
So here is what I suggest, I would say if you have multiple adults in your house, set up separate accounts to get your rite aid video values coupons.
Based on the response from my contact, my local Rite Aid’s district manager and (I have emailed him again yesterday after Coralie’s comment) I will post the scenarios using multiple $5.00/$20 Video Values. If I am told by my Rite Aid contact (who is much higher up than a customer service rep) or by Rite Aid’s PR rep that it is not permissible, of course I would never post. So, after all that long windedness, I think you have to make your own decision. I would never want to misguide you. I
I personally have 5 computers and 3 adults, so I can print 3 of each coupon no matter what. My husband has his own wellness card too. So does that answer your question Sue, probably not, but that is the best answer I have at the moment.
coralie says
when i first started vv and was also new to printing anything i had discovered that i could change qty and emailed corporate asking if it was okay. they told me it was coupon fraud. i have seen you as doing things ethically, that was why i was surprised you mentioned printing multiple quantities. i have since discovered that i can save them as a pdl; however, i only do it as a backup in case they don’t print. last month 3 of my coupons (one of them being the $5 off $25) didn’t print correctly and therefore, i was out them. it said email if you have trouble printing, and i did, but didn’t hear back. so now this is my own thing i can do to make sure i get my legitimate one copy.
Shannon says
@coralie,
I am a stickler for coupon ethics.. if I was told that, I would immediately stop advocating. I emailed my contact again to confirm that what he says still holds true.
Thanks for your concerns.
susie says
Rite Aid has B1G1 on Van Camp’s Pork and Beans. I have a $1/5 from an insert in June All You. These coupons weren’t listed in the front of the magazine. I am going to check prices this evening.
Jen says
Would changing the qty to 2 give you two coupons with the same bar codes, or different bar codes? I didn’t even think that you could print 2 and only printed 1.
Jenny25 says
well, unfortunately, the VV coupons reset and I only have one style science coupon :( but in retrospect, 6$ for 2 pairs of sunglasses is good too! :) Lesson learnt: print multiple copies of desired coupons!
alex says
Shannon you are the Queen. I just sent in my first rebate to Rite Aid, I am getting $36.00, P&G coupon book. So excited, Merci Alex
Sally says
And it gets better! Use Wellness card to make that $15 or $30 Gift Card. Wow!
Sally says
Sorry, and the Coppertone, too. There could be others I am missing…
Sally says
Shannon, don’t forget that the Nivea for Men qualifies towards the Skin Care 2010 Rebate, too!
Rebate #555
VALID ONLY ON PURCHASES FROM 05/30/10 to 07/24/10**
Purchase Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) of Any Variety for a $10.00 Rite Aid Gift Card OR Purchase Fifty Dollars ($50.00) of Any Variety for a $25.00 Rite Aid Gift Card
Shannon says
@Sally,
I am holding off on this one, because this one says after all coupons … so we will see if it qualifies..
Andrea J. says
Never mind – don’t know where my ad scan came from. Found it on pg 11. Hope my store has that ad, not the one I found first. (My first ad scan has a full page ad for Wellness + on pg. 11)…looks like a little more variation in ads.
Andrea J. says
I hate to ask, but I feel like I’m going blind! What page is BOGO Ziploc on? I’m sitting on 5 BOGO q’s that will expire 6/5. I’m in long ad, test market (and excited to try the Huggies +UP deal!)
Shannon says
@Andrea J.,
Glad you found it.
Becky says
Technically you are only supposed to be printing one v.v. coupon for each item you earn a coupon for. This is pretty well spelled out on the adperk site under help (down at the bottom)-I heard that people were abusing this and printing more than one and they are thinking of quitting the program. Have you gotten the ok to print more than one? I would love to, but don’t want to do what we are not supposed to be doing.
Shannon says
@Becky,
On a side note, I believe the VV program is going to be going away with the roll out of the +up rewards :)
rose says
Oh, and when u say that u can only use one video values coupon, u mean
Per product, right? I can use a huggies and a sunglasses video values coupon together, right?
Shannon says
@rose,
Yes rose. And you can use a $5.00/$20 too, but just not two RA VV on the same product.
rose says
I have a $5 off of $25 coupon from my wellness card and also
A $5 off of $20 from the video values. If I spend $30, can I use
Them both?
Shannon says
@rose,
No, you can only use one.
nicci says
Yes i did get a raincheck, but they were only out of the serum. So they only gave me a raincheck for the serum, not one for the moisturizer, and then told me it could only get the 2/44 price not the scr.
Shannon says
@nicci,
Nicci, No, you can call Custoemr Service and send in your receipt via fax and get the SCR. Shame on the store for telling you that!
nicci says
How did you get a hold of an SCR represntive? I had trouble with the Olay deal also and got a rain check, but they said there was nothing i could do about the SCR
Shannon says
@nicci,
Nicci,
No thats not true. If the store is out of it, then you can get the SCR. Did you get a raincheck on one of the days the SCR was valid?
Joanna says
My Rite-Aid this week was out of the coppertone sticks (free wyb coppertone lotion), so they offered me a raincheck.
I’m hoping to use the $2 in-ad this coming week with the rain check offer.
Don’t fear the rainchecks!
I also got one for the Olay Regenerist SCR from Sunday-Tuesday. SCR Representative said to give them a call with info for rain-check $20 Rebate whenever my store stocks the cream AND serum.
Shannon says
@Joanna,
Absolutely Joanna – always ask for a raincheck!
Terri says
For some reason, I can’t get the Sure deodorant link to bring up coupons. It just goes to the Sure webpage…?
Shannon says
@Terri,
I just updated with a new coupon, appears the other is gone.
Kelly says
can we only use 1 vv for the huggies? I have 2. 1 from my account and 1 from my hubby’s account. Also, someone told me you can save it and print it several times. I am a newbie with Rite Aid so just trying to do things right. Thanks!
Shannon says
@Kelly,
Kelly, One video values per transaction.
