I just went to Dollar General and they wouldn’t take my coupon for $4.00 off 2 of them. The Body washes. They were on sale for $2.00 and I had 2. It beeped and the manager said if the register doesn’t take it, we can’t take it….. Anyone else have that problem at Dollar General. I am real new to this… about 2 weeks.
HELP !!!!!

I never knew that dollar stores, such as dollar general takes coupons! thats awesome! BUT does every location? Apparently not bc of what prudence posted. I will call the location first and find out..

I tried to use the $4/2 coupon today along with the B1G1 free coupon (3 bottles total) but the assistant manager would not allow it. She would not even attempt to scan it. I kept my coupons and came home and emailed customer service. Frustrating!

I can’t seem to get to a site that will give me the coupon. It keeps taking me back to the picture with no place to request the coupon. I wonder whether I am doing something wrong. Usually don’t have a problem getting coupons.
Shannon says
@marilyn,
Which coupon are you looking for?

Thank you! I just made a quick trip after reading your post. I was able to grab 4 bottles for my husband- the only ones they had for $2 were the ones for dry skin but that is perfect for summer. I had one more coupon but the young male cashier said he wished he had one of those coupons, so I pulled it out and gave it to him.
I appreciate your blog. I check it all throughout the day and I (and others) appreciate that you do this without PREACHING to couponers so like many other bloggers do. Your site is informative and intelligent.
Thank you,
Cathy

@Cathy,
First, I love hearing when couponers share the love with the cashier.. so kudos to you.
Thanks for your kind words. I have to say I am not sure which kind of preaching you mean.. but it is not my place to do either. I provide you with a service – and honestly, most of this information you can find on another blog, but I try to make everyone feel welcome and I mean EVERYONE. There are days when I wish I can change the name to For the Everyone.. because i want everyone to feel totally comfortable and even laugh at my silly little jokes. Thanks a bunch!
