I saw the early release of this movie (in 3D) and LOVED it! It’s definitely a Tim Burton flick, but still family-friendly (except for a couple of scary scenes…little ones might not like it). Beautifully done with gorgeous music and special effects.
I LOVE Alice in Wonderland.. always have!! I haven’t actually decided if I would go see the movie or not (not a huge Johnny Depp fan) but I probably will anyway… the visuals really do look amazing.

My husband and I took turns reading The Annotated Alice to our daughter when she was younger, and now it’s her brother’s turn. I really like the story. The movie looks intriguing–saw a trailer last weekend. I agree with some posters, though, in that it probably isn’t suited for most younger kids.

This is my all time favorite kids story. I used to read the book as a child and when i was old enough to have babies of my own, we ran out to purchase the Video. Now I can’t wait to get the Blue Ray when it finally comes out!!
While pregnant with our second, my husband and I decided to spend our Hawaiian savings account (to someday go there) to instead take our daughter to Disneyland. We were there for four days, but we literally spent our entire time on the Alice in Wonderland teacup ride because it was our daughter’s favorite! We have the old version of the movie and also the book – a family favorite! We can’t wait to take her to the movie!
My kids will want to see this movie! I hope my two youngest will be able to handle it ok. Despite the PG rating, Tim Burton’s movies can sometimes be hard for the littles to watch. Still, its on my list of must see movies!

I have seen the movie over 100 times since I was a little girl. It’s very curious but I am the only one in my family who loves this movie. I have 2 lovely younger sisters but they always preferred fairy tales. As for myself, I always loved a little mystery and strangeness. It seems so much more interesting and bold. I mean, any girl can be saved by a man…but to save yourself, now that’s an accomplishment!!!! :) Go Alice!

I just saw this movie today and I loved it! This book has always been one of my favorites. Johnny Depp totally did the role justice.
I remember Alice and Wonderland fro when I was a child, and I am so excited to see the new movie with the cinematography, and 3-D. I know it is going to be amazing. This would be a dream come true. Alice In Wonderland was one of my favorite books as a child. I use to go down in that hole with her every time I read it, and the adventure would be a little different each time with my imagination in full throttle. I remember loving this story so much as a little girl and am sooo happy now that Tim Burton is the one to be doing it! My husband and I are going to see it tomorrow before I’m due with our son in two weeks (otherwise I’ll never get to see it)!

My cousins dressed up as Alice and the Mad Hatter for Halloween… They even did a photo shoot just them two with a “tea party” They always have the best ideas and costumes!

I really love Alice in Wonderland, and I was Alice once for Halloween… In grade school I also once played the doormouse :)
The town where I grew up has a candy and ice cream shop that is decorated with an Alice in Wonderland theme and murals. Some of my friends even dressed up as all of the characters once and went there! It’s really cool.
The caterpillar (that’s what it is, right?) will probably always creep me out a little bit…

I am anxiously waiting to see this movie, along with my 4 year old daughter and her daddy, we are waiting on him to have time to go, he is stationed away from us in the army. This was one of my favorite movies when I was younger, and I can’t wait to see my little girls reaction to the movie. She is so adorable and is really wowed by all the new things she sees or learns.

I just saw the movie this weekend and it’s amazing! I love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp together as a team. No one else would reimagine Alice.
Oh and you must see it in 3D. Truly wonderful.

The lady playing Alice is cute and hot and wonderful.
I’m glad Burton stuck with his idea to cast an unknown as Alice. I wasn’t expecting a gronwn-up woman, but the first time I saw her in the preview, I thought, that’s Alice!
Alice’s Victorian, childlike yet impertinent way of speaking and thinking has always appealed to me. I don’t know how much of that is preserved in Burton’s more grown up and modernized version, but I hope some of that is. Some of the joy is seeing how Alice innocently and demurely reacts to the insanity around her.
Can’t wait to see Alice in Wonderland in IMAX!
All my female friends want to see it because Johnny Depp is hot even when his face is painted and he’s acting all crazy. I’m not attracted to him like that but he must have a powerful hold to attract when acting as the Madd Hatter. :)
Bonham Carter seems to be the perfect fit as the Queen of Hearts.
I’m really looking forward to Danny Elfman’s score. He never disappoints and he delights at doing these crazy dark epic features of Burton’s.
In this movie, isn’t Alice running away from “marriage?” I could’ve sworn I heard something about that in the trailer.
