Winner- Mindy G.

Crayola Gum ToothbrushIf you have a seven year old boy like me, you know how hard it is to get them to brush their teeth, let alone get them to brush them for a full 60 seconds! When I heard about the GUM  Crayola Timer Toothbrush, I was very anxious to try it with Evan. I have begged, pleaded and threatened my son about brushing his teeth. I told him all of his teeth would fall out, didn’t care. I told him no one would be his friend if he had smelly breathe, didn’t seem to phase him.

When he first saw the new GUM Crayola Timer Toothbrush, he shrugged and said it is just a toothbrush.  I turned on the light. His little eyes lit up. He wanted to go brush his teeth. The first night, I think he brushed his teeth 4 times just to see the light. He said it reminded him of using a light saber on his teeth.

You can check out how the toothbrush lights up. Now in the video I said turn it off, what I really mean is stop brushing, it automatically turns itself off. (I actually wouldn’t mind having one for myself.. they are so cool)

In addition to this toothbrush, GUM you can find some great tips for children’s dental healthcare HERE

Want it now?

GUM has provided a special code to get $1.00 off the purchase of a GUM Crayola Timer Toothbrush HERE, use code GUM100. This would make a fun stocking stuffer.

Win It

Win a gift pack from GUM that includes this great toothbrush and other children’s oral care products!

As a dental hygienist, I can tell you that I’ve found recommending the “fun” toothbrushes make the most impact! (Especially the 8 and under crowd). Now trying to get teenagers (boys in particular) to do the same thing….I don’t know if a crayon toothbrush will work! What a cute item (and I live really close to Binny & Smith Crayola Factory too!)

63 Teresa November 15, 2009 at 10:15 am
