Please clarify:
1)Can I use the $3 huggies printable Q towards the pullups?
2)I have a 85 cents/1 Viva paper towel Big roll Q (exp 4/4/2010), Can I use it towards the single roll advertised at 1.99?

Shannon Reply:

Deepika, Yes you can use the $.85/1 on Viva..

I am not sure that you would be able to . Has anyone else used a Huggies on Pullups before? I think they are separate coupons.

2 Deepika March 20, 2010 at 1:42 pm

The Huggies Q says Any one huggies diapers …. ??? Will pullups be considered under any diaper category?

For the Hersheys & Reeses bagged Easter candy at $1.88, if you happen to have this weeks ad or can get one still today there is an in ad Rite Aid coupon for $2 off 3 bags and it doesn’t expire until next Saturday. Combined with the manufacturer $2 off 3 you could get 3 bags for $1.64, or $0.54.

When I looked at the triple wraparound it said the the coupons were manufacturers coupons paid for the the manufacturers…i thought that that meant we could not stack them with other coupons. Is this true? also couldn’t we use the RAVV coupon for swimmies or are they not considered jumbo packs?

Shannon Reply:

Laura,

They are Rite Aid Coupons.

There are Johnson & Johnson printable coupons here if you didn’t get one earlier. http://www.johnsonsbaby.com/special-offers-expanded.jsp

I got a 42 ct prevacid for 5$ the other day!!! There was a 10$ off 42ct in the paper last week, plus rite aid had a 10$ off 42ct on their website, then i used 5$ off 25$ my total was 3.99+tax! Same goes with a 6$ on 28ct – you could use the 3$ off 15 for that one.

Don’t forget the countless numbers of “$.25 off Planter’s” Game of Life coupons we’ve collected!!!

oops.

And there’s a $3 SCR WYB $15 on Planter’s products

The Huggies should work for the Pullups because they are a Huggies brand.

Laura –
http://www.forthemommas.com/riteaid/rite-aid-in-ad-coupons
See this post Shannon did last week re: Rite Aid in-ad coupons. Some are actually manufacturer coupons and are not stackable. The Hershey’s coupon is a manufacturer coupon and cannot be stacked. Bummer!

On the Nice N Easy… there is a $5/2 coupon on the 3/7PG. Stack it with the In-Ad coupons and a $3/15 or $5/2X and get 4 for a little over a $1

Just checking on the math for the Kotex deal – wouldn’t that make it $2 total? $1 each?

Reply

13 Christa K. March 21, 2010 at 8:33 am

Ok so maybe those $1 Kotex coupons aren’t available anymore? I tried the zip code listed but didn’t see any…

Shannon Reply:

Christa,

I checked now, sorry it is gone now, did these matchups on Friday. Sorry.

Aww that is a bummer :( sorry I am still new, and I dont know how I missed that post thanks for the link!! I guess it’s like some of the ones you can print from Target that have the bullseye logo but are actually manufacturers and therefore not supposed to be stacked, tricky tricky :)

15 Kentucky_Lea March 21, 2010 at 2:11 pm

I think your math is wrong on your huggies scenario – $8.99 x 2 = $17.98 -$3 OTP – $3 MP x2 – $2 RQ x2 – $1 SCR = $1.99 each… I really need to find some more computers to print diaper coupons from!!!!!

Shannon Reply:

Lea,

Double checked the scenario and it is correct. Rite Aid only allows 1 Video Values per transaction per their policy. I know that some of you may have been able to use more than 1 but I am not posting it that way because most people are given problems at the Register and Rite Aid Corporate has advised me that they shouldnt be accepting more than one.

Reply

16 Kathy March 21, 2010 at 3:40 pm

Rite Aid is actually the only place that won’t accept Huggies Diaper coupons for the Pull Up products. Usually the computerized register sysytems have no problem taking them when they are the same brand but the systems at the Rite Aids I go to will beep if it’s not the specific product. Even when it comes to the Pure and Naturals, it have to be the exact product. Maybe some have better luck…

Shannon Reply:

Thanks for the updates.

I just tried the Pull-ups and they wouldn’t take my $3Q. They said that the coupon said diapers and Pull-ups are training pants. I think I’ll try another store.

On the Ester C BOGO deal, how can you use 2 $5 off coupons? I understand using one $5 for the one you buy, but how do you use the second coupon on the one you are getting free?

Shannon Reply:

Most stores will allow you to use a coupon on the “free” item.

Reply

19 Jeremy March 21, 2010 at 5:50 pm

Don’t look at it as “free”, b/c it is not. its like 50% off on both. They don’t give away stuff for free, they just jack up the price and then make a bogo deal. That’s good for us because we can stack that with coupons, basically giving us a double coupon deal.

Shannon Reply:

Jeremy,

Thanks – that is a great explanation.

Reply

20 Mel March 21, 2010 at 7:04 pm

The supervisor at my Rite Aid told me that corporate was in last week and told them they are not allowed to take a coupon for the free item on BOGO. He told them it was coupon fraud. Is that true?

Shannon Reply:

Mel,

I do not believe so. That is a common practice by couponers.

21 Samantha C March 21, 2010 at 10:22 pm

Shannon,

Just curious does Rite Aid only allow 1 Video Value per item or is it per total transaction. Like if I bought Cottonelle and Huggies, I would I be able to use both video values? Or does it mean I couldn’t use 2 like Video value coupons – ie bought 2 Huggies and used 2/$2 Huggies Video Values. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks!

Shannon Reply:

Sam,

2 Like coupons. Sorry to confuse you.

Shannon,

I have seven (7) J & J Baby product coupons. RA has .99 off Q in their ad this week. I also have 4 V V coupons. May I stack my V V coupons on top of the ad Q and MFC Q at RA? Meaning, for four of the items, can I do RAQ, RAVVQ, and MFQ?

Thanks!

Shannon Reply:

Denise,

I have seen people say that you can, but you probably will have a very hard time doing this, especially in one transaction.

Reply

23 Abby March 22, 2010 at 1:24 am

Mel, if you read Rite Aid’s coupon policies (found online but sorry I don’t have the address handy), it clearly states that you can use the BOGO coupons on a BOGO sale, and in their words “essentially making both items free”.

I am still fairly new to Rite Aid~what do you mean by the “triple coupon savings wrap around” ?

The Flintstone $3.00 in ad coupon – where is it? I keep looking at my ad and don’t see it, though would love it as I need to pick these up for my kids! Can you help me out here??? Is this not a national ad???

Shannon Reply:

Tracy,

This is part of the wrap around I spoke of in the deal list. It is regional.

I was able to get 3 packages of the Huggies for only $5.97, and I’ll get $1 back from SCR. Here’s what I did:
bought 3 packs for 26.97
Used a $5/$25 coupon and the $5/$20 video values coupon (I’ve never had a problem using both on one transaction)
Used (3) $3 huggies coupons
Used (1) $2 video vaules huggies coupon
Over 100 diapers for $5 isn’t bad!

28 Sally March 22, 2010 at 5:22 pm

The $2/3 Hershey’s/Reese’s Q in the Rite Aid ad last week is a true manufacturer’s Q, not a Rite Aid Q, so no this would not work.

Shannon Reply:

Sally is correct.

I have a couple questions, do you have a RA preview for next week? Also, is the RAVV 1 per item or 1 per transaction? I get more than 1 thinks to famiy/friends, I have used 1 per item but 2-3 in a transaction. I didn’t know that I might be doing something wrong.

31 Rorygator March 24, 2010 at 7:08 pm

I love RA deals, but CVS has an even better one on Hershey’s this week: CVS has the 13.2oz bags for $1.97 (sale price), after which the $2/3 coupon brings the price down to $1.71/lb (as opposed to $1.94/lb at RA), and CVS also has the $3 ECB on $10 of Candy (that can be used twice this week), so that’s another 30% off…

I bought the Cottonelle ($2 SCR) & Kotex 2/$6 ($1 SCR) this week, and the rebate website is stating that my items were not eligible. I’ve double and triple checked and I am sure I purchased the correct items. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi. I purchased 2 Ester-C and tried to use 2 $5 coupon but the cash register did not accept both coupons. She said I am getting one already free so I cannot use it she said. Then I did not buy these items and went to another rite aid. They said the same thing. What can I do about it? Thank you.

This is straight from Rite Aid policy – Only one manufacturer coupon is accepted for each product, unless coupled with another manufacturer coupon found in a Rite Aid circular.
