Here are the best coupon matchups for Giant PA. Giant PA’s doubling policy vary. Most stores double up to $.50, making a $.50 coupon, $1.00. There are stores that double to $.99, making the coupon $1.98. A handful of stores double to $1.00, making it $2.00. All the coupon matchups in this post are based on doubling to $.50, so if your store doubles to a higher amount you will have an even better deal!

Giant is still a great deal for me – we don’t have the gas points in State College, PA, but our store doubles $1.00 coupons which gets me lots of freebies each week!

I feel quite spoiled. I have a wonderful Giant and get great deals with the gas points. Customer service helps me out all the time and one clerk loves when I bring the coupons and congratulates me on all the good deals I get. You all should come over to Elizabethtown!
Shannon says
@Sharon,
I might just do that one day – take a drive over to check it out.
Holly says
@Sharon, I agree, nice clerks at Etown Giant. I rarely have problems with my coupons. Last week the clerk missed 3 and customer service quickly refunded me the $3.

I thought Giant had some great deals for gas. They had alot of products for a dollar I think it was last week. Spent $52 and got $1.20 off of gas in that one trip! Thats $36 dollars in gas I will be saving! Walmart in Harrisburg is terrible they don’t even like to take my coupons they argue will me all the time for printed ones. All they keep saying is I don’t know if you copied them! Never would I!!! So I don’t go there any longer!

Yeah I agree, Giant hasn’t had great deal lately apart from double $1 for one week, I find myself going to Target instead.

This week is not fantastic, but Giant is doing okay by me .. the gas deals last week were outstanding. $4.50 in soup netted $6 in gas points. $7.50 in sausage netted $12 in gas points. On top of that, the 300 bonus points coupons contributed to the savings. With the “money makers”, I was able to put the savings toward the “underwhelming” store-wide deals and end up way way ahead.
Although, it does seem like they are on a cycle of one strong week, then two weak weeks for gas deals…
BTW, thanks Shannon for all you do!

I would rather pay more oop than shop at WalMart. I am saddened by what WalMart is doing to my community.

I was excited to see a Giant gas coming very close to me. But I was thinking the opposite. Mine hasn’t been having gas deals the last 2 weeks and you only get $ .10 off a gallon if you spent $100 or more.
Shannon says
I have almost completely stopped shopping at Giant ever since they switched to gas deals. I don’t have the ability to get the full 20 gallons, and I am drawing the line at buying and driving around with a 5 gallon gas tank to save money on groceries. I save enough without it.
Sarah K. says
@Shannon,
I agree. A fill up for my car (Honda Civic) is AT MOST 10 gallons, so when I’m figuring out the gas deals I assume every 100 points = $1. They’re rarely enticing at that point.
Amanda says
Is it my imagination or have the deals at Giant been very underwhelming lately? I’m thinking of switching to Walmart even though my Giant doubles coupons up to $1.
Shannon says
@Amanda,
Totally underwhelming – but for me, our Walmart is just as expensive ..
