My mom is a crazy coupon lady too, she sent me a link to the ad for the week and was asking me about the Purex. She said there is a B1G1 store coupon in the ad for the same Purex that is on sale already B1G1 all month… she said maybe free detergent that way? I’m thinking one would over-ride the other though? I know my Walgreens sometimes programs their registers at the coupon price and then doesn’t even scan the in ad coupons.

Danielle,

ok so your mom is a crazy couponer too! YEAH!
Ok so here is what I think might happen:

Transaction:
Purex – $5.99
Purex – $0.00 -BOGO sale
Purex – $5.99
Purex – $0.00 -BOGO sale
————-
Total: $11.98
-$5.99 In-Ad coupon for b1g1
Total: $5.99 for 4 Bottles…

but I dont know! Who will try it first!

I talked to a manager this morning and she said no go. It is super saver all month, so this is just advertising the sale.

The Revlon sale includes nail files. In my Walgreen’s in Allentown, PA they were $.95 I than used the $1/1 beauty tools coupon(2/21 SS insert) to get them for free.

Now just a word of caution, Walgreen’s hates coupons that are for more than the value of the item. So make sure you hide the overage.
There is also another deal going on where you buy $10 worth of Revlon get $5 RR(this RR must be used on Revlon). The nail files qualify for this deal. So if your Walgreen’s has enough stock(mine only had 4) and you’ve got enough coupons you can get 11 nail files, use 10 coupons(so the register won’t beep because of the overage) pay $.45(plus tax) and get a $5RR for more Revlon.

I tried the Excedrin, but it wouldn’t work. The first one came up at $5.79 and the second $0.20. So my cashier would only deduct $0.20 on the 2nd one. Kinda stinks how that works out, but I didn’t need the medicine anyway.

My Walgreens said that the monthly Walgreens coupons are manufacturer coupons also. So I had 2 – $2.00 off Excedrin internet coupons and tried to add the $2.00 off Walgreens monthly coupon (essentially trying to stack a store coupon with a manufacturers) and they would only let me use one of my internet coupons. Has anyone else run into this problem???
